Tickets to the former One Direction star’s first solo world tour sold out in seconds this morning across 29 markets, though this came to no surprise.

Ticketmaster’s new “Verified Fan” program allows fans to register their interest and their response to his tour was staggering. For every 1 ticket, 7 fans registered as interested to one of his 13 date North American tour, breaking the record for this anti-scalper program released earlier this year.

Harry Styles also sold out his 10 shows in Europe, 6 in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Japan.

By using Verified Fan on Ticketmaster, fans in the US and Canada were only able to buy up to 4 tickets each, so only the very special will be able to see the singer in his intimate tour venues for his self-titled debut album, which is set to release on May 12.

His latest single, “Sweet Creature”, hit number 1 quickly after its release on Tuesday May 2.

Styles kicks off the North American portion of his world tour Sept. 19 at The Masonic in San Francisco, wrapping up Oct. 14 in Phoenix before going to Paris.
